Shandong. The birth of the Chinese Revolution, and now the site of a new revolution. A much, much larger revolution. A global revolution, the likes of which the world has never seen before. Now, the Workers finally had a force to call on in their time of need, a force that sends shivers down the spine of every capitalist abuser in the world.[/i]
It was a sunny May Day in Shandong, the People's Republic of Friedensreich. The year was 2019, a date that will now live in perpetual glory.
Banners of nations across the world wave in a crowd whose size and scope was never seen before. Amongst which include the characteristic Chinese "Rising Star", the Kongolese Stars and Stripes, the Sollanese Eagle, the Perlandian Bird of Prey, and the Andreallic Sun. This crowd stretches for what seems like a mile, and ends right at the assembled flagpoles of each aforementioned nation, with a larger one in the center.
A hush of silence falls amongst the crowd, as the leaders of the free world- including Katerina Spelma, whom is smiling from ear to ear- work together in a ceremonial raising of a new banner. This banner is the newly introduced Gear and Grain, a symbol used to show the unity between industrial and agricultural laborers.
And with the flag raised, the new revolution was born under the name of the Red Sphere. This Sphere has successfully united proletarian nations across three continents, from South America to Africa, and Africa to Asia. It was now the time for the leftists of the world to unite, no matter their variation of the creed, as now was the time to rise against the Bourgeoisie and their liberal enablers. The world must be painted red in Proletarian brotherhood, and the Red Sphere sought to do just that.
Shortly before the raising of the flag, the leaders were inside of Chateaux Regenstrief, a former residence of a German aristocrat during the colonial era of China. Although the original occupants were long dead, Regenstrief has since served a useful role as a museum and testament to the abuses of liberalism.
These leaders were finally ratifying the Charter of the Sphere, whose creation was done in secret for months. Several new features of this group made it stand out from its predecessors, such as the failed USCS. It was in the charter that every member state was equal in every way with their brethren. No matter what, the Sphere had no centralized leadership; decisions were made democratically amongst equals. A feature which was indeed unique.
